Qigong (Tai Chi) is the main pillar of Traditional Chinese Medicine and it is the predecessor to, or grandfather of, Tai Chi / Qi. As an ancient Chinese healing method of contemplative moving meditation, Qigong is a practice proven to bring its practitioners joy, peace, relaxation, accelerated healing (following injury or surgery) emotional and physical balance, serenity and clarity of mind.
It is the perfect practice for those who are searching for a peaceful, serene form of both gentle, physical, energy balancing exercise and meditation. The best aspect of Qigong is that while it is powerful, it is also simple and in the words of a famous Qigong master, Chunyi Lin, "You cannot do it wrong - you can only do it good, better and best."
Victoria Gentile has been a meditator for over 40 years and an attorney for more than 30 years. Over the years, she has studied many traditions and forms of meditation and healing. She has also studied with many accomplished healers, teachers and spiritual visionaries.
Join Victoria on the sand at the Morris Town Beach (83 East Shore Road) for this four - week series. Class meets every Thursday in June from 9:00 am - 10:00 am.
Class dates are June 3, 10, 17 and 24.
Total cost for the series is $60.00 with checks made payable to Morris Beach & Recreation. Drop in rate is $17.00 (exact change only or personal check, please). Simple registration at first class. (Please arrive a few minutes early to complete registration.)
