Real Estate
The only bill you will receive for Real Estate taxes is the bill mailed at the end of June 2014. If the bill is $100.00 or less it is due and payable in full in July 2014. If the bill is over $100.00 it can be paid in two equal installments, half due July 2014 and the other half due January 2015. *****Please note that no separate mailing will be sent for the January installment.

Real Estate Sold or Transferred
Real Estate taxes appear in the name of the owner on the October 1, 2013 Grand List. The new owner’s name(s) will appear on the new grand list’s billing. If property has been sold or transferred, please forward bill to the new owner or to the tax collector. 

Personal Property
The only bill you will receive for Personal Property taxes is the bill mailed at the end of June 2014. If the bill is $100.00 or less it is due and payable in full in July 2014. If the bill is over $100.00 it can be paid in two equal installments, half due July 2014 and the other half due January 2015. *****Please note that no separate mailing will be sent for the January installment.

Assessments & Exemptions
Questions in reference to Assessments & Exemptions should be directed to the Assessor's Office. Any questions in regard to Motor Vehicles which have been sold or registered in another town or state should also be directed to the Assessor's Office, at (860) 567-6096.

Payments by Mail or Payments in Person
If a receipt is desired please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope and the entire bill to the Tax Collector’s Office. If no receipt is desired just send the correct part for the installment you are trying to pay. If you are paying in person, please bring the entire bill.
